2nd post in one day, you don't mind, do you?
Well, today my curiosity nerve has functioned really well, so I watched many youtube videos. One video that captivated me was video of Christian hymn titled "Here I Am, Lord". It was composed by Dan Schutte in 1981 and is parallel to bible verse of Isaiah 6:8 :
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (NIV)
Personally, I am fascinated by Prophet Isaiah for this verse. Without doubt did he agree to the Lord's command to be His right hand for the world. What about you, guys? and what about me? I think this verse is really powerful, considering we, as a human, are nothing in front of God, if, we don't believe in Him. But we are the chosen. We are saved by the blood of Jesus. I am the chosen and I am saved. While I believe that nothing is impossible if God is in our side, sometimes I doubt myself if I do all the things that I suppose to do. Can I really do this? Am I qualified enough to handle that? Such questions come to my mind occasionally. Thank God I still try to believe in myself and I have the courage to do wonderful things in my life.
In the future, I really hope that I can still spread God's love to my friends, family, and people around me. What I will have done will probably only be felt in a small group of people, but I'll be grateful if I can still spread God's love in my own way nevertheless. And in my prayer, I hope that I am always ready to say: “Here am I. Send me!”
