noun
: a person having characteristics of both extrovert and introvert
[source: Merriam-Webster Dictionary]
For all my life, I was an introvert. I liked being all alone and I thought it was unnecessary to hangout and socialise with others. But, as year passed and I learn the life and how world works, I enjoy socialising with friends or someone new. It's awesome. And at the same time, I also need to spend time alone with myself to recharge my energy. To spoil myself. There I am, an ambivert.
Being an ambivert is great, because:
1. You can definitely have fun with your friends, enjoy your social life.
2. You know you need to spend time alone which also you enjoy to do.
3. You can adjust yourself when you interact with both extrovert and introvert. Yes, you are in the middle, after all.
4. You have free time? There's two advantageous conditions: A. Your friends ask you to hangout and you're gladly say yes. B. No having fun with friends meaning you spend your free time alone and you gladly spend it by yourself.
Here are some quiz to know whether you are extrovert, ambivert, or introvert. Happy trying!
