This year I plan to read more Dutch books, both willingly and unwillingly (see also this blogpost). Consequently, I might need to jot down several difficult words and look for their English or Indonesian translations. Usually, I opt for my phone for this process. That went well, of course, but then I came across this bookmark...

Front side

I was excited about this bookmark when I first saw it in my local bookstore, but I hesitated to buy it due to the price (classic problem). Actually, the price is quite reasonable, €5,95 for 25 bookmarks. My reasoning at that time was whether I will commit and use these bookmarks to the fullest. A few weeks later, I decided to buy them and plan to use them when I read Dutch books. I have used one so far and it worked well! Now I am using it for the second time to read Het Achterhuis by Anne Frank (English version: The Diary of a Young Girl).

Backside

Each bookmark has two sides. On the front side, we can fill out the book title and the author, plus the overall rating of the book on a scale of 1 to 10 (I make my rating equivalent to the Goodreads' one). On this side, we can already put our notes (actually meant for commentary, but I'll use the space whatever I like!). Not enough? There is more space on the backside.

I can only see more advantages with the bookmark so far. If you find a similar product, I say to give it a try!
